Space Shuttle Boom

So there we were, standing in the living room, when it sounded like something hit the building. Something big. BOOM! And smaller booms after that. Like something hitting the roof and bouncing.
After inspecting the building (no damage there), we went to the television and saw the space shuttle landing at Edwards Air Force Base here in California. Nice.
