Hi Michele. There are a number of suggestions and solutions above. Just scroll up to the bottom of the article, where I've linked to many of them. And good luck with your Magic Bullet!

My Magic Bullet is at least 4-5 years old. I loved it. I used it a week ago Sunday and on Wednesday it didn't work at all. I've tried everything, I think it just died. I guess I'm luckier than some who have said theirs stopped working after 4 months. If you have suggestions on how to fix it, I would love to hear them.

just went back and reread some of my posts and the name of the little blender i got to replace this unmagical bullet is the turbo chop express and after 2 years its still goin strong . looks just like the bullet too ..it don't all that much better than the bullet but it hasn't broken yet and thats a really big plus cause after all how good can the bullet be if it don't work .. .. and it was less than half the price of the bullet ..the bullet broke after only a few months .. but honestly these things don't do what them slick infomercials show they can do .. the blades only chop whats on the bottom and you have to keep takin the unit off the base to shake it to get the unchopped stuff onto the bottom .. they're really poorly designed .. but if you absolutely have to have one of these mini chopper nightmares get the one that don't drive you crazy cause it breaks right away .. the turbo chop express.. but as for me i'm gonna look into the ninja with the 5 year warranty .. anybody know anyone that has one of them ?? or a website to go and look for some real world comments ?? post somethin here .. thanks ..

Fantastic!! I have purchased 2 MB during the past 4 years and on Monday my second MB power base center wheel busted (again). Reluctant to purchase a 3rd $50 kit, I scoured the internet for a solution.
This site was the best.
Following the instructions from several posters, my husband and I successfully replaced the center wheel on BOTH of my power bases from the flat blades in each kit.
A-MA-ZING!! I now have 2 working power bases after only an hour of unscrewing and re-screwing 8 screws and 2 wheels.

Y'all Rock!! Thanks!!

well i been tellin everybody i know to stay away from this piece of shit .. had the same thing happen to me . the plastic gear broke and they wanted to sell me a whole new base for 30 bucks .. i agree their customer service is absolutely horrible .. all it needed was that little plastic gear that slips onto a knurled shaft .. probably cost all of maybe a dime .. but they would rather sell you a whole new unit .. they're a bunch of theives .. i got an alternative to this thing called the turbo chop and its a no name imitation that does everything the magic bullet was supposed to do but can't .. and it was less than half the price .. look for it .. the turbo chopper .. i've had this for about almost 2 years now and no problems at all with it .. had the magic bullet for about 3 months maybe before it broke .. now its a magic doorstop .. so is yours .. you should use it for just that purpose so everubody else you know knows thats all its good for too .. just in case you forgot to tell someone how much of a piece of shit this product really is .. warn everybody ..

Hello,
I just a week ago purchased my second bullet blender as my first broke when the plastic ring broke. My second one just last night broke for the same reason the plastic ring tore and broke into to peices. When my first one broke I thought it was just a coincidence, but after the second one broke after a single week either Im doing someting wrong or the Bullet blender is not worth my Money!

I have bought 4 different MB over the past 2 years. I purchased them from several different stores.Wanted to make sure there wasn't a bad batch in certain stores. Cost me a ton of money. I'm NOT happy about that or this product! Every one leaks under the lid. All leak at the same area. This is a FAULTY product!! I'm tired of having to wash this lid between mixing my coffee. I also have to unplug it so that I can wipe out the mixer part base & let it dry. Because I don't want that to still be wet when I plug it back in. It will leak all the way through the base onto my counter. This cannot be safe for the Consumer! Please, respond to your Better Business Bureau on their website if you have problems with this product. I'm going too. If they receive many complaints, they will check this product out & notify this Company.
